Object Name PINAFORE
Description Child's pinafore made of solid yellow fabric and with a white fabric cat on the front. The cat is made of white fabric with black embroidered outlines and is standing up on its hind legs. A buttonhole in each ear is where the pinafore straps are buttoned. One button on the back of the pinafore closes the skirt. A strip of white bias fabric is sewn over the hem on the inside of the skirt. There is an appoximately one inch long tear on the left cheek of the cat. Several smaller rips are also present on the cat. Donor states that the pinafore was probably made by Ida May Huckbay Lutes Ritter, the great grandmother of donor, grandmother of Bobby Lutes, mother of R.H. Lutes.
