A lawsuit filed by the Irrigation Land and Improvement Company against A.B. Miller, W.K. Peasley, Alex Macbeath, and John Doe Fitzgerald. The lawsuit was filed over construction of a levee as part of the Reclamation Service. The Irrigation Land and Improvement Co. alleged that the defendants did not obtain proper permission to work on the company's land and that they are trespassers. The defendents argue that they work on behalf of the United States as part of the Reclamation Service, and the real defendants in this case should be the United States. The plaintiff further alleges that the defendents did not have a contract with the United States for the construction of canal on the plaintiff's land, only the construction of a levee. The lawsuit is dated 1905.
